V . . X i Rustic Work Mr. Stirling Sailings brought to oar i ffice this morning a rustic fl wer stand, which was much of a curl . sity. The base was near ly a foot in height and was constructed f cypress; knees which were crooked naturally so ss to somewhat resemble the shape of a camel. Upon the pedestal thus f trmwl was the receptacle for flowers, con su ucied by placing cypress and coral in al ternate layers upon each other, the upper layer toeing of the latter material. The whole combined made a very unique piece of fustic work. It was constructed by Mr. Sailings at his work shop, on Ann, be tween Sixth arid Seventh streets, where specimens of his handiwork! may be ei amined.
